Molly Senser, MA - Outpatient Therapist

Richfield

A Little About Molly:

I am an Outpatient Therapist who started working in mental health in 2017. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life at varying ages and stages in their development! I am known to work well with neurodivergent individuals, and am an LGBTQ+ affirming provider. I specialize in helping people with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, coping with life transitions, trauma, addiction, and grief and loss. Additionally, I have advanced training in treating individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

I uphold a trauma-informed approach in therapy and utilize strategies from various therapeutic modalities based on what works best for you and what is known to be most effective for your presenting concerns. Most commonly, I employ skills from the following approaches: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential-Humanistic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

My therapeutic style can be characterized as enthusiastic, genuine, empathetic, relational, and collaborative. I became a therapist because I developed a profound respect for the exceptional power of therapy to transform lives. I feel called to help people who have felt marginalized, downtrodden, and burdened to discover their healing and empowerment.

In my free time, I enjoy going on adventures, listening to audiobooks, and spending time with my pets. A fun fact about me is that one of the simple joys in my life is wearing fun-patterned socks. I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your goals!
