Maria joined Youable in April, 2021, and has been working in the mental health field for over five years.  Prior to her current role, she worked as a Case Manager with Youable for four years, and prior to that, worked with children and families as a skills worker.  She continues to provide case management services in addition to her role as community-based therapist.  In her therapy work, she believes in empowering her clients and validating their experiences and perspectives, and practices with a trauma-informed and strengths-based lens.  She is also trained in DC 0-5, and loves working with families and kids of all ages.
