Elizabeth (Liz) Clark, MSW - Outpatient Therapist
A Little About Elizabeth:
I’m Liz, an outpatient therapist with eight years of experience in the mental health field. I sincerely believe in the resilience of the human mind and spirit and have devoted my career to understanding and nurturing emotional health.
I specialize in developmental disabilities, trauma, depression, and anxiety, concentrating on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed, elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. These specializations enable me to support clients as they navigate through life’s transitions, overall mental health wellbeing, traumatic experiences.
Beyond my primary areas of expertise, I’m deeply interested in anger management, self-esteem, relaxation techniques. These interests have further enriched my approach to therapy.
My therapeutic style is grounded in the connection between our thoughts, emotions and behaviors and how this interaction impacts how we perceive and interact with the world. I believe therapy can be beneficial for everyone, having someone to witness our struggles and successes and riddle out our challenges or obstacles to help us live our best lives.
When I’m not in the office, you might find me with my fur babies (2 cats and a puppy), cooking, going to restaurants, watching food network (anything food!), anything nature (hiking, camping, hammocking), and watching TV shows.
