Individual Couples & Family Therapy

Therapy that meets you where you are

Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship stress, parenting challenges, or a more serious mental health concern, our team is here to support you. We work to connect people to care quickly—often within days—and offer daytime and virtual appointments to make scheduling easier.

As a smaller, community-based team, we take the time to get to know each person and provide care that is respectful, family-centered, and tailored to your needs. You can expect clear communication and consistent follow-through throughout your care—and if we’re not the right fit, we’ll help connect you to the right support.

  • What to Expect

Starting therapy can feel intimidating—especially if it’s your first time. Many people reach out during a difficult moment or when something no longer feels manageable on their own. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin.

We work to make the process simple and supportive.

    Step 1: Reach Out

  • Call us or request an appointment online. We offer in person appointments at our Richfield office or telehealth visits.
    Step 2: Intake Appointment

  • At your first visit (called a Diagnostic Assessment), you’ll talk with a therapist about what’s bringing you in, your goals, and what kind of support you’re looking for.
    Step 3: Get Matched

  • We’ll connect you with a therapist who is a good fit and help you schedule ongoing sessions.
If you have questions at any point, our intake team is here to help guide you through the process.

I’ve never been to therapy before – what is it going to be like?

It’s normal to find therapy a bit intimidating, especially if you’ve never gone before. It’s a deeply personal thing, often begun because something has happened to push you across the line from “I can deal with this on my own” to “I need help to handle this,” and that event is frequently adverse or traumatic in itself.

To help ease the process of getting started, we’ve streamlined our intake process and taken away the typical introductory packet of personal questions. Instead, at your first appointment – called a Diagnostic Assessment, or DA – a therapist will have a conversation with you to talk about why you want to begin therapy. After that, they’ll make a recommendation for which of our therapists will be best suited for you and your needs, and our new client experience team will schedule your regular appointments with them.

If you want to know more about what to expect with therapy, don’t be afraid to ask our client experience team or your therapist questions, either – they’re here to help you!

    Our Approach

  • Our therapists use a range of evidence-based approaches to support each person’s unique needs, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), internal family systems (IFS), play therapy, and strengths-based or mindfulness approaches.
  • Care is always tailored to you—your goals, your pace, and your preferences. We take a trauma-informed, relational approach that focuses on building trust, strengthening skills, and supporting long-term well-being.
  • Family Therapy

Family life can be difficult whether someone in your family has a mental health issue or not. We understand that the strength and health of the family unit is fundamental to everyone in it, which is why we offer therapy for the entire family and include it as part of some of our other programs.
