A Little About Alicia’s Role

Alicia joined our team in August 2020 and has worked in the human services field since 2015.   She has previous experience working in a family services program in Fort Worth, Texas, and has worked with adults with brain injuries and mental health diagnoses, and with families experiencing homelessness.  She has a competency in cognitive behavioral therapy.  As a therapist in our school-based program, she works in an elementary school setting.  “I reach out to as many children and families as possible, teaching them how to manage mental health in their lives,” she says.

When she is not working, Alicia is a huge sports fan (especially hockey), and loves cheering for Minnesota sports.  She also enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling with her boyfriend.
